BEST MEMORY "When I told Conrad about being a vampire, he didn't freak out. I mean, he did, at first, but it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. He flipped out and ran for cover, but two days later he came knocking on my door. It felt so good to be able to talk to him. And I had a willing blood donor, which was amazing."
WORST MEMORY "When I saw my son, Jasper, hit his wife. I had just escaped from Vittorio, I was so happy, and all I wanted to do was see my children. I knew I couldn't let them see me, but... When I found out Lillian was dead, I was devastated, but it was worse when I saw Jasper hit Caroline. He'd become his father, and I hated Pierre almost more than Vittorio. It was almost unbearable to see him like that, hurting his wife, like his father had hurt me and his little sister."
OVERALL PERSONALITY
- Bold: not hesitating to break the rules of propriety; forward; impudent. Chris doesn't care about rules, unwritten rules, or traditions. If she wants to do something, she will, and if she has something on her mind, it's a good bet that she'll say it, no matter how improper or rude the act or words are. However, she does have enough sense to act properly in sensitive situations.
- Clever: superficially skillful, witty, or original in character or construction; facile. When Chris wants something, she can usually figure out a way to get it. She is good at figuring out ways around rules, or solving problems in a way that benefits her. Though she generally uses her mind for selfish purposes, she is a very clever young woman none-the-less.
- Confident: sure of oneself; having no uncertainty about one's own abilities, correctness, successfulness, etc. Not necessarily arrogant, Chris knows what she can and can't do. When she does something she knows she's good at, she is very confident in her abilities, and even if she isn't very good at something, she stands tall and isn't afraid to do poorly.
- Cynical: distrusting or disparaging the motives of others. Blossoming from her dead husband's abuse, and growing with the torture she endured by her creator, Chris doesn't trust people. She thinks the worst of their intentions, and believes in 'guilty until proven innocent' rather than the other way around. She is under the impression that there is more evil than good in the world.
- Determined: resolute; staunch. Once Chris has it in her mind to do something, she will find some way to do it. She is very determined, and refuses to accept that there isn't always a way to do something. Just because she can't see the way, doesn't mean there isn't one, and Chris will find it no matter what.
- Impatient: not accepting delay, opposition, pain, etc., with calm. Chris hates waiting for anything. She gets very irritable and taps her foot in agitation. A constant stream of profanities or complaints will slip from her lips if she finds herself having to wait for something.
- Independent: not influenced or controlled by others in matters of opinion, conduct, etc.; thinking or acting for oneself. Chris likes doing everything for herself. She doesn't let other people's opinions influence her own, and she does what she wants, weather others find it proper or not. Unlike women who like a chivalrous man, she hates it when men pull out her chair or hold the door for her, it just seems demeaning, saying that men are better than women.
- Intelligent: having good understanding or a high mental capacity; quick to comprehend, as persons or animals. Though Chris doesn't seem like the studious type, and she hardly ever bothers to pick up a book, she is a very intelligent woman. She is quick, and observant, picking up on the tiniest things. She has an almost photographic memory.
- Moody: expressing or exhibiting sharply varying moods; temperamental. Not to the extreme of being bi-polar, Chris does have many different moods, and they can change rather quickly. The slightest thing can make her angry, but then the next day the same thing may not bother her at all. She can go from being extremely hyper or happy to being sad or angry, simply because of a depressing thought.
- Restless: characterized by or showing inability to remain at rest or calm. Chris has a hard time sitting still. She always has to be doing something. When she is forced to sit still, she is always shaking her knee, or messing with her hair. When she's free to move around, she does. She hardly ever stays in one place, and is always moving around, often times dancing or doing something silly.
- Stubborn: fixed or set in purpose or opinion. Once Chris has an opinion on something, it is nearly impossible to change her mind. If she does research on her own (which is doubtful), she might reconsider, but if someone tries to change her mind, she only becomes more resolute in her opinion or decision.
- Tolerant: inclined or disposed to tolerate; showing tolerance; forbearing. Chris tends to be very tolerant of other people's beliefs. As long as people don't try to make her believe the same thing, she doesn't care what God they pray to or what morals they have. However, if anyone tries to push their opinions onto her, she can get very angry, and has been known to start fights for it.
- Faithful: steady in allegiance or affection; loyal; constant. Once Chris makes a friend, she is very loyal. She never cheats on her partner, and she tries to never lie. She's the person people feel safe going to with their secrets, because they know she won't tell anyone else, no matter what.
- Bubbly: lively; effervescent; enthusiastic. When she's in a good mood, Chris is hyper and crazy. She is all over the place and loves doing crazy things, and anything she does she does with great enthusiasm. She can light up a room with her smile and exudes energy. Sometimes this can be a problem, because she gets in the way, but she doesn't really care.
- Candid: frank; outspoken; open and sincere. Chris has no problem saying exactly what she thinks. She doesn't consider other people's feelings, she just tells it how it is. Whether with her friends, or at work, it doesn't matter, she is very straightforward with everything and everyone, no matter how rude people may see her as.

OVERALL HISTORY Christia Isabelle Aglionby was born during the end of the Renaissance era, May 8, 1681, to Marie and Jean Pierre Aglionby. She was the last born, and the only girl in a family of five children. Her mother tried to raise her to be a proper lady, but with four older brothers, she didn't have much luck. Chris liked dresses, but she was always getting them dirty, messing around with her brothers. They taught her how to fight, to her mother's great dismay. But, as they grew older, the boys slowly left the family. Jean-Pierre left to become a knight, Henry was married, and George left for school.
Marie was able to instill some sense of propriety into her daughter with three of the boys gone. She was able to teach Chris how to act like a lady, although being taught didn't mean she acted that way all the time. During that year, her and Asher became very close, and she was depressed for a couple months when he finally left for school. Marie sought to distract Chris with men, but Chris was still too young to be interested in men and marriage.
That is, until George and Asher came home on break. Chris was twelve, and she was hanging out with her brothers and their friends in order to get away from her mother's persistent lessons and the suitors. One afternoon, she found herself alone with one of George's friends. She tripped, he knelt down to help her, and they kissed. One thing led to another, and before she really knew what was happening, she was no longer 'pure'. When she arrived home, no one suspected a thing, and she didn't tell anyone, not even Asher.
Not three weeks later, Christia was engaged to Pierre La Follett. She didn't like him, at all, but he was wealthy, her mother loved him, her father approved, and she felt ashamed about what she'd done. She figured, the sooner she got married, the sooner she could legitimately no longer be a virgin. They were married a couple months later, and only a year later their son, Jasper, was born. With the stress of the baby, and his job, Henry started drinking, and when drunk he was violent. Chris never said anything; there was nothing that could be done. She did her duty as a wife, and a couple years after Jasper was born, little Lillian was brought into the world.
Days before Christmas, when she was 21, Chris took a walk, leaving eight year old Jasper and six year old Lillian with Asher's wife and their kids. She was attacked by a man named Vittorio, who brutally beat and raped her. There was a point when she passed out, and she was woken by the sharp pain in her neck. She was tied to a bed, barely breathing. In an attempt to save her life, she did as she was told, drinking the vampire's blood. When she was healthy enough to be moved, she was moved to a small cage in a side room. For twenty years, she was tortured by Vittorio, and she slowly developed a fear of small spaces. She had always been slightly claustrophobic, but after her encounter with Vittorio, it got exponentially worse.
A group of radical Catholics invaded Vittorio's home, suspecting him of being a demon, or the Devil incarnate. They burned his house, and Chris was able to escape. Her first instinct was to see her children. She learned that Lillian had died only a couple years after she had disappeared. Jasper was married, with two sons, but he had turned out just like his father, abusive and mean. The first time she saw him hit his wife, she turned her back on her human family. She moved to Versailles, where she learned how to be a vampire in a human world. Her first twenty years had been spent in a cage; she knew nothing about feeding and hiding on her own.
Chris killed a couple people while learning her way around being a vampire. Eventually she got better, but the trail of bodies led Vittorio to her. She'd though he had died in the fire, but he had escaped, like she had. When she came home one morning, she could sense him. Her door was ajar, and the hair on the back of her neck stood on end. "My dear White Rabbit, so good to see you again" The sound of his voice sent her running. She hid from him as best she could, moving often.
Years passed, and eventually she moved to the New World. She watched the new country grow. She posed as a guy and fought in the Revolutionary War, and then later in the Civil War, on the Union's side. As time passed, she stopped worrying about Vittorio finding her. She even got comfortable enough to stop moving, and settle down. She went to college, where she met a human by the name of Conrad. She told him what she was, and he accepted her. He even donated blood on a regular basis. She thought she loved him, but there came a time when the two of them went separate ways. There was no resentment when they broke up, and they still keep in touch.
Chris eventually made her home in Applewood, New York, where she became second in command to the master of the city. She owns a strip club called Guilty Sins, and lives in an apartment close to the club. To pass the time, she attends college for the second time.[/ul]
SHININ' WITH THE GLEAM CHAIN
AND YOUR HONEY GIVIN' ME BRAIN, YOU CAN CATCH ME WATCHIN' AI
Landon watched Keagan eat, and marveled at how big he'd gotten. It had been so long since he'd seen the boy, five years. He shouldn't have been surprised, five years was a long time, but still... For five years that one year old boy was the only image he had of his son, and that memory was shattered by the boy sitting in front of him. He found himself staring with almost desperate intensity; what if this was the last time he got to see Keagan? The very last time, no more second chances. He watched, trying to memorize every curve of his face, every line that reminded him so much of Emma...
What are you doing? He chastised himself mentally. Five years ago, he had left because of fear of commitment. He didn't want to take care of a child, he couldn't. But... he was older, he had a job, would it really be so bad to be a father? Not that it really mattered, he doubted if Emma would allow it. She was hurt, he knew that, and probably angry. She wouldn't let him be a part of Keagan's life. What was he thinking? He didn't want that responsibility anyways. No, it was for the best that they just went their separate ways. Though, he wasn't completely sure of that.
Emma's voice pulled him out of his thoughts suddenly, forcing him to take his eyes off Keagan to look at her. He blinked a few times before he realized what she'd said. Good, they were good. Of course they were, they were fine without him. Of course. He nodded, "That's good." Good that they were good, heh. His brain just wasn't working well enough for him to think of any better adjectives. When Keagan spoke to him, he went into shock again. The boy was speaking! Duh, Landon, he's six years old. Intellectually, he knew kids started speaking well before the age of six, but it was quite another thing to have his son speaking to him. He felt a twinge of pride, pride he knew had absolutely no place. He hadn't been there to help Keagan learn to speak, he hadn't been there for anything, and with that thought came crushing shame. "Hi, Keagn, I'm Landon. It's nice to meet you." There was an overwhelming urge to tell Keagn he was his father, but he didn't. He knew that would complicate things, and he wasn't sure he wanted to be a part of Keagan's life.
She was speaking again; how was he? Confused, very confused, but he wasn't going to tell her that. "I'm doing well. Teaching photography at the boarding school." He said. He was trying to prove something to her, though he didn't consciously realize it, trying to prove he was worth something, that he was making something of his life. "Rachel? No, no, she's not here." Rachel was a great woman, but he'd broken it off with her just before moving down to Jersey. Together almost five years, but she wasn't the girl he wanted to marry. Hell, he didn't know if he wanted to marry anyone.
