BEST MEMORY The first time killing a Vampire. It's hard to explain it and it's not probably my best but it was the best I felt. My boyfriend broke up with me that day that caused me to drink then I met a Vampire. When he thought he had me I killed him. I was eightteen when it happened. The reason it was the best because I knew I was doing something to make my mom proud of me for once.
WORST MEMORY My sweet sixteen birthday. Instead of having a party like any normal sixteen year old my mother told me what I really was instead I could have lived without know but at least I understood why she couldn't look at me. On that day I promised my mom I would kill every vampire I meet.
OVERALL PERSONALITY
[li]ATHLETIC - while it may not look like it, catherine loves to play sports and be physical. she is very strong, much stronger then a human, and likes to get down and dirty on occasion. she has always been agile and flexible, and tends to fool people because she is short and skinny, it makes her weak. she is also very fast, and can outrun most people that she encounters. however, she doesn't flaunt this fact, and puts on a slightly more distressed, weak facade. but she certainly isn't a damsel in distress, but sometimes she like to play as one.
[/li][li]DETERMINED - catherine is not the type to give up on something easily. she typically knows what she wants and goes for it, sometimes not thinking of the consequences. she has a very take charge attitude, and when something isn't getting done that she thinks needs to be, she will do it herself, even if it isn't necessarily what other people might agree with. she doesn't usually take no for an answer, and tends to do things her way. she hates being told what to do, and most of the time it works in her favor, but sometimes it can be a bad thing.[/li][li]SMART - catherine is extremely intellectual and is very cultured. she spends most of her time reading and studying modern culture, since for the most part, she doesn't exactly know how the modern world works, but she is getting used to it little by little. she is very good at writing and english, and loves classic literature, unlike most people her age. however, she also has street smarts, and knows how to handle herself.
[/li][li]INDEPENDENT - you will often find her by herself just doing her thing. catherine has dependency issues and cannot find it in herself to trust others fully. she does not need anyone for anything and she does not want anyone to help her. if you see her struggling with anything, though it will not be a sight you see often, my best advice is for you to just keep right on walking. she will not accept your help.
[/li][li]RESERVED - catherine is typically very shy and reserved, and doesn't tend to talk to people that she doesn't know, unless they come up to her first. she has always been like this. while she has a bubbly personality once people get to know her, she hates talking to anybody she doesn't know. she doesn't make friends very easily, and when she does, it takes a while for her to open up, mostly because she doesn't want to get hurt by anyone, or accidentally hurt somebody without meaning to.
[/li][li]BLUNT - catherine tells it like it is and doesn't sensor her thoughts in the least. she doesn't care if you like it or if your feelings get hurt in the process really. your feeling are the farthest thing from her mind when she talks, so if you don't like the fact that she will probably say something that you won't like, you probably should just stay away form her, because she just doesn't care about what you think. so if you don't want to know what she truly thinks then don't ask.
[/li][li]SARCASTIC - some of the things that Catherine says she does not mean. it's not that she is a liar, she is just overly sarcastic. she doesn't like it when people get close to her because she fears that they too leave her. being highly sarcastic is her own way of protecting herself from people. she figures if people never know what she truly means then they won't get close to her because they will think she's weird, so therefore, she can never lose anyone.
[/li][li]SHORT TEMPERED - pissing catherine off will not be the safest thing for anyone to do because when she gets pissed off fists will start flying among other things. if you don't want to end up with a black eye or worse be sure not to get her mad.

OVERALL HISTORY
Growing up Catherine knew that there was something different about her something far more different then any other kids her age but she never really questioned it she just thought, like most kids, that boys just picked on her to be mean but it never dawned on her that there might actually be some truth in what they were saying. Her own mother had a hard time looking at her or being near her there were moments Catherine would try to do something just to see her mother smile at her but it never happened. Her father was never around Catherine didn't even know anything about him whenever she tried asking her mother or grandparents about him they would either ignore her question or tell her that he wasn't worth knowing about.
On Catherine's sixteenth birthday, instead of a cake or party, her mother sat her down and told her about the father that was never around. What she heard come from her mother was shocking that had been rapped by a vampire then nine months later Catherine was born. Knowing that she was half vampire made sense to her it explained a lot of things that she was to worried to ask her mother about and she finally knew why her mother never really looked at her like a mother should. But it also made her feel somewhat responsible for what happened to her mother though she wasn't around yet to prevent it from happening. It was then that she promised her mother that she would kill as many vampires she could if they didn't kill her first and for the first time she say he mother smile at her.
It has been a little over six years since Catherine has made her mother that promise and she stuck to it was worth it seeing her mother smile at her every time she told her she just killed a vampire and in hopes of one days finding her father to kill him for what he did. There were some good traits to being a half vampire, though she wouldn't admit it, for one she had more strength then a human and can run faster not that would help against a full blooded vamp but they don't know what she is because Catherine has a beating heart unlike they do, oh she gets her fair share of marks and bruises but she's the only one who walks out of the fight a live.

SHININ' WITH THE GLEAM CHAIN
AND YOUR HONEY GIVIN' ME BRAIN, YOU CAN CATCH ME WATCHIN' AI
It was late or early, sometime in the A.M, Claire had just left her mamas grave. Every night she sneaks out of her house when her dad is asleep and goes to visit her mothers grave she would sit right in front of the tombstone and talk to it like her mother was really, actually, there yes it was sad but to Claire it was something she has done for the past ten years. Her father had stopped going because he didn't want to be reminded of what he doesn't have any more which made more sense now that she knew why he couldn't look at her it was because from the pictures Claire looked just like her mother something she was proud of because everyone says she was a beautiful women but then again they could all just be saying that to be nice because it's wasn't good to speak bad of the dead.
Making sure the gate was closed Claire started to head back home but when she was half way she stopped at the fork in the road. If she went right she would be going home but if she went left she would be heading to a very old farm that most of the people in town were scared to go it. Moving her flashlight from one road to the other Claire took a deep breath and started walking left. She couldn't believe what she was doing even after she swore to her dad that she wouldn't go anywhere near it but she was curious and you know what they say Curiosity killed the cat but satisfaction brought it back.
Besides the night there was something else Claire loved and that was being scared. She doesn't really know why though maybe it was because of the adrenaline and the pounding of her heart or perhaps it was the feelings that flowed through her body it felt alive but it was most certainly a good feeling to her. And that was the exact feeling she was getting as she stood a few feet in front of the, supposed, haunted farm house no one has been brave enough to see if it was actually haunted but if they did then they were to scared to say anything about it.
Swallowing hard "Alright. Here I go" she said to herself holding the flashlight in front of her as steady as she could but she could feel her hand starting to shake. Stepping inside the farm house Claire looked around shinning the light on objects it looked like a normal house it was just messy, smelly, and nosy the sounds where making her a little jumpy but she continued to walk further into the house the more she walked the more her whole body started shaking. There were some old furniture left behind by whoever lived there last and from the look of it has been a very, very, long time since someone lived in the house.
Stopping at the staircase Claire looked up it before slowly stepping upward the wood cracking under her feet she was half way up when the wood broke beneath her. It scared her so bad that she screamed like mad before she realized what has actually happened "Gosh darn it" she mumbled to herself looking around for her flashlight but she must have thrown it her foot fell through because it was at the bottom on the staircase she tried to pull her foot out but there was nothing doing looking around to see if something, anything, could possibly help her but there was nothing. She was stuck.
Grunting Claire grabbed her leg trying to jerk it out but it wasn't budging but then again she couldn't see "Just great. That's just great" running her hand through her hair getting it out of her face looking around as though she would find something to help her but all that she say were shadows Its' just the trees she thought to herself over and over as the sounds of the house started up again which meant that he imagination was soon going to get the better of her.
